Today we are excited to share some amazing event recommendations for you to attend in August and September! These events are specifically designed for indie songwriters and artists, that want to take charge of their career and ramp up their game in the music business.
From August 26th through August 28th CD Baby´s DIY Musician Conference 2022 takes place in Austin/ Texas as well as online. The conference focuses on various aspects of writing, releasing and promoting your original music. There are in depth Marketing panels, Office hours with reps from Youtube, panels on the web 3 and nfts as well as sessions with Vocal coches, songwriters and publicists. Two of the panelists have been featured on our blog before, namely “Brianna Ruelas” who will speak about “Leveraging a signature song to land “out of the box” opportunities and expand your audience” as well as “Angela Tyler (former Mastrogiacomo)” who is one of 4 experts speaking about “More than Artist Branding”. Next up, from September 7th through September 9th, you may well want to attend the WFPM Sync Success Conference, which is taking place online for the first time this year. This exclusive conference is targeted at indie artists who own their own publishing and are willing to learn the ropes of writing and pitching for sync.
Dondrea Erauw, an award-winning music supervisor, Sean Tinnion, an international award-winning film composer, Theo Seidman and Steve Collom, producers specializing in music for media, Szilva Vecserdy, a singer-songwriter with many placements, and Paul Saunders, a music industry career specialist are among the panelists and will be available for networking opportunities throughout and after the event.
